I've Been Everywhere, Man

In my life, I have been blessed to have traveled many places and I have seen many things.

I have seen the sun set over the Pacific Ocean and rise over the Atlantic.  I have been on the white sand beaches of Grand Cayman Island, the Pink Sand beaches of Bermuda, and I the black sand beaches of Costa Rica. I have been to Montana in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in the heart of winter and saw the splendor of those white-capped mountains against a clear blue sky.  I have driven the I-80 pass between Reno and Lake Tahoe with those breathtaking mountain views.  I watched the sun rise over Penobscot Bay after a nighttime snow fall seeing the glorious orange sun contrasting the pristine white banks.  I have seen the majesty of the Grand Canyon from its sides and from the air.  I have seen and heard the power of the Niagara Falls.  I have seen beauty indescribable as I traveled around taking in the beauty of God's creation wherever I went.  There are so many other things I can mention about so many other things I have seen, but those are some of my best memories.  I am sure we all share memories of things we have seen.

What is amazing is the same person who created all of that beauty is the same who is preparing our eternal home.  Yes that very same Person who created the beauty we get to see in this life is the very same one who is designing and building our eternal home.  How amazing is that?  If we think we see some nice things now, just think what God is going to build for His children.  Jesus refers to them as mansions, but any mansion we can imagine was designed and built by man.  So take the best of the best, the most amazing mansion you can imagine, and them imagine how much better the ones made by God will be.  Set your heart on Heaven, that is where are true home is and where are true treasure lies.
"In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know." John 14:2-4 NKJV
