Would You let a Terrorist Molest Your Child if He Promised Not to Kill You?

Good Saturday everyone.  I was to preface my post by saying that this is not a political blog.  I do not write about politics per se, and today is no exception.  What I am writing about today is not the government as the government is only doing what God promised it would do when we reject Him as our Ruler.  This falls squarely upon us for allowing this to happen.

This week a You Tube video was making is rounds showing a six year old girl getting touched inappropriately as part of a TSA screening before boarding a plane.  Many were appalled.  Many more just said it is our new reality.  And no one did anything to stop this travesty from happening.  This poor girl had a complete stranger touch her in places that are not to be touched and put her hands in clothing that should never be breached.  This was not an isolated incident.  Is this what we have become?

I am sorry to say that it is.  We have become such utter cowards that we allow our children to be molested for a minuscule difference in safety.  There was a time in this country where parents would willingly give their lives before allowing someone to hard their child.  There was a time when any self respecting man would put his own life on the line to save the life of a child.  Now we are all too willingly to allow our children to be molested in broad daylight and in public all to save is from a one is twenty five million chance of dying by a terrorist attack. What pathetic miserable cowards we are!   Not only will parents not give their lives for their child, but they will not even take a one in twenty five million chance at that happening.  And the rest of us, well we just allow it to happen.  Some even say it is a good thing. They say it is our "new reality."

The new reality really is that we have become cowards.  We are so scared to die that we allow our children to be molested by strangers.  If there is a war on terror, we have lost.  And for those ignorant fools who say it is harmless, I have news for you.  Working with youth, I have known young girls who were molested where that molestation was only touching.  Those effects do not just go away.  Those wounds do not heal with time.  The pain and misery can last a lifetime and have effects you can not even begin to understand on their lives.  Not only that, but we should congratulate ourselves into giving predators a whole new avenue.  If security is allowed to molest our children, then who is to stop any predator from just telling a child that they are security?  What is worse is that children are being taught that anyone in security has a right to feel them up and so no "stranger danger" lessons will have an effect.  We are destroying the lives of countless children all to prevent a one in twenty five million chance of dying in a terrorist attack.

Even more, we have given God one more reason to judge or nation of cowards.  We are sacrificing our children on the altar of safety.  We are creating a stumbling block that can lead to all sorts of sinful and dangerous behavior in their future.  Perhaps we deserve it.  Either way, I know one thing is for sure.  The terrorists we cower in fear of now will be nothing compared to the anger of the Lord poured out on this nation.  When He comes for payment for the debt we have created, no amount of shoes removed, belts taken off, naked x-rays taken, or children molested will be able to save us from what is to come.
Thus says the Lord GOD: "Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them, surely, therefore, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved, [and] all those you hated; I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness. And I will judge you as women who break wedlock or shed blood are judged; I will bring blood upon you in fury and jealousy. Ezekiel 16:36-38 NKJV

"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Luke 17:2 NKJV
