Jesus Paid it All, But What Did He Buy?

Today is another busy day and so today will be another short post.  We often hear that Jesus paid it all, but today I want to answer just what it is that he paid for.  I know the obvious answer is our salvation, but that is only part of it.  The blood of Jesus paid for so much more than our redemption.
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace  Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
It would be awesome if it stopped there, but God is only just getting started.  By way of our redemption, the blood of Christ has purchased so much more.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."  Romans 8:15 NKJV
The blood of Jesus also paid for our adoption.  Through the blood of Jesus, we are adoption as sons of God and therefore coheirs with Christ.
In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 NKJV
The blood of Jesus also covered our eternal home.  I could never afford a mansion, and certainly not a mansion in Heaven.  That is a price no one could pay.  First of all, without Jesus, it would be impossible to enter the gates of heaven let alone set up residence.  But through His redemption, we not only have the right to enter Heaven, but Jesus is also preparing our mansion for our eternal residence.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.  Ephesians 5:25-27 NKJV
The blood of Jesus has also paid our dowry.  The church is described in the Bible as the bride of Christ.  As we are part of the church, we are also His bride.  Whether it be an engagement ring or some kind of a financial dowry, there is always a cost in claiming a bride.  The blood of Jesus paid our cost, allowing us to become His bride.

While these are all awesome and wonderful promises paid for by the blood of Jesus, there is one more thing purchased with His sacrifice.  While meditating on those promises, it is important to keep this last thing in mind in our day to day lives.  You see, Jesus also purchased you.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.  1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV
