The De-Evolution of President Obama

Unless you live under a rock, you know by now that our president has "evolved" his position to believing that gay marriage should be allowed.  President Obama likes to portray himself as a Christian and I am not going to judge his soul, but I will judge his fruit.  He makes the claim that he is a follower of Jesus Christ, I want to put that claim to the test.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor [can] a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.   Matthew 7:15-20 NKJV
And just what is his fruit?  We can talk about his pro-choice ideology.  We can talk about his belief that Jesus is not the only way.  We can talk about his denial of the inerrancy of Scripture.  We can even talk about his his Robin Hood mentality of stealing from one to help another.  There are so many things we know already that we can talk about, but the President did something entirely different yesterday.  Yesterday he took a moral stand in opposition to God.  You see, he did not talk about homosexual marriage as some kind of a civil right.  He did not say that while he is personally opposed to it, he believes that others should have that right.  He did not talk about it in terms of a legal opinion and the belief that our system already does or should allow it. What he did was take a moral stand.  He said while he is not going to try and change any laws, he does believe that homosexuals should be allowed to marry.  He based his decision on personal experiences with others in committed homosexual relationships and not based on any legal theory or civil rights ideology.  It is not so much as him thinking it should be legal, but that he believes that it is morally sound.  What you saw yesterday was our leader thumbing his nose at the One who sustains this nation.  What you saw yesterday was a man who claims to be a Christian tell God that he knows better.

The fruit of his ideology is the belief that homosexuals should be allowed to marry.  Is that Christian ideology?   The fruit of his convictions is that we should redefine what God has defined as a family.  Is that Christian conviction?  Would the Holy Spirit lead anyone to that conclusion?  He stands as the leader of our nation and in direct opposition to God.  Whether or not he has any faith in Jesus is between him and God, I am only showing you the fruit of his convictions.  Our response should be to pray. We should pray that he repent of his wrong ideology. We should pray that he repent of his standing for sin.  We should pray he repent of calling evil good.  More than anything, we should pray for his salvation whether or not we believe he needs that prayer.  God desires all to come to repentance, even President Barack Obama.  That should be our prayer and our desire otherwise we stand in opposition to God as well.
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?'  He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and gather them up?' But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."  Matthew 13:24-30 NKJV
